Don’t Cry for Belfry…
How good will Belfry be in 2019? While they may have lost some players from off the roster who transferred to Mingo Central, we don’t think you should be crying for the Pirates…HB

Breathitt County went to one of the more prestigious 7 on 7 tournaments in Kentucky and we decided it would be fun to tag along, so we did. This article contains some of the outstanding performances we witnessed both from teams and players. We hope you enjoy the article.
We traveled with Breathitt County to EKU’s Passing League Tournament and were pleased with what we saw. First of all, this isn’t the type of event at which any Bobcat football team is going to be too proficient. It really doesn’t fit with what generally constitutes the strength of the Breathitt attack. That aside, there were some really good things we saw and we thought you would want to know. We have also included some commentary on a Pikeville squad which certainly didn’t disappoint in the performance from the Panthers we got to watch. Enjoy the article.
This is part three of our three-part series “Wandering through the wasteland…” Today we predict the district winners in Classes 2 and 1A. This concludes our series. I would mention Fletcher Long, formerly a writer here at KPGFootball and now working for Bluegrass Sports Nation called and said some coaches have taken strenuous exception to this analysis. This is part two of our three-part series “Wandering through the wasteland…” Today we predict the district winners in Classes 4 and 3A. Tomorrow, we will conclude the series with the 2A and 1A classifications.

Of course, we know White by his nickname “Nino” like virtually all of the Louisville area and the Team Kentucky fraternity. We also know him to be a winner. There are bright days ahead for this program. Enjoy this article.

KPGFootball are big fans of Coach Darell Keith. We have been out watching the Todd County Rebels practice the past few days and we are becoming big fans of their prospects going forward. Keith is particularly good at coming up with nicknames and his nickname for Justin Waldrop, The Big Show, is a dandy. Enjoy the article about an up and coming team in the area.
Here is where you might think us crazy. How does a team which goes 0-11 in 2018, losses 35 straight football games in a row, turn it around in only one year? Well, ask Logan County. Point is, it can be done. It is about to happen at Warren Central. They will be very good in 2019 and in this article we give you three main reasons why that is. HB
